First of all, I would like to thank my loving wife, Janice Maddy, for letting me sleep so long last night. This “Internet fame” stuff is hard work, and every now and then, I crash and burn!
I am in the process of linking all of my personal user URL’s to the list of web sites I have joined, and sometimes those URL’s aren’t real obvious. I’m talking about all those sites on my “Hear, See, Touch, Smell, and Taste Me” page, here: http://rogermaddy.com/?page_id=105
Time-consuming stuff, but when the big bucks start rolling in, it will be worth it… trust me! 
Also, if anyone knows what happened to revver.com, please let me know. I joined it, then minutes later, it disappeared off the face of the earth. I’m not kidding… some kind of weird “Maddy’s Law” thing or something?

We Shouldn't Be Doing This by rogermaddy
Video made by Roger and Janice Maddy on 8/11/2006. The idea was to shoot a movie about something you probably shouldn’t be doing. There will be an ad at the beginning of the movie. Ads make the world go around, ya know.
I have joined almost 40 video and/or photo upload sites, so far. The links to all the sites will be at the top of my blog. I’m just now adding the hot links. Click on “Hear, See, Touch, Smell, and Taste Me”. You can watch this video in (at least) two places, at the moment:

BTW, one of my next projects will be to go to those sites and start “friending” people at the speed of light, using similar techniques that I used to get almost 5,870 friends in Facebook, that dark and evil place where people try to hide for all kinds of stupid reasons. (Roger Maddy and Janice Maddy, combined… Janice had almost 5,000, which is the max, and I had about 870… Janice is obviously much more talented than I am… )
The only requirement to becoming one of my “friends” is to be mostly human. I am NOT an INTERNET BABYSITTER. LOL.

Well, I’m not going to brag about being naughty, but according to a few people, I am famous. However, I definitely am not rich. Janice can verify that fact.
So, If you want to get rich, maybe you shouldn’t listen to me. LOL.
Now quickly to my point:
When I started uploading videos to the internet over 10 years ago, there was basically no place to upload them TO. Yes, this was very problematic.
A few years later, I was among the first of many people who started uploading videos to YouTube and a couple of other sites. There were only a handful of “free” sites at that time. I also started uploading videos to my own server (I’ve been using Globat for years, now), but one word of caution about that: If you have a video that goes viral, and that usually happens almost by mistake, if that video resides on YOUR server, it could end up costing you lots of money because of bandwidth…
These days, we probably have dozens of sites where we can upload videos, and I’m sure that number will continue to grow quickly.
So, me, being the smart feller that I am (not the fart smeller… ), I plan on uploading videos to as many sites as possible. Why? Because I like being famous.
Now, I’m exaggerating a little bit… I plan on taking a good look at every site before I upload a video, to make sure it is a site that I personally feel comfortable with… this is a personal choice, of course.
Now, how do we find all those sites? Maybe this is a good place to start:

Speaking from experience… and trust me, I have plenty, I’d like to start off with a few “don’ts” about networking, tagging, etc.
You pretty much get what you ask for with internet bots, e.g. if you spend lots of time in Google searching for things like nudity, sex and pornography, then that’s what the bots will attempt to show you through things like ads. Now the ads on my blog page are Google ads, so I’m going to assume that although you might see ads about hot babes in bikinis, pole dancers in night clubs or teenage girls in short skirts dirty dancing, you most likely won’t see ads that contain nude chicks, any XXX stuff, etc.
Also, if my blog had this kind of content on it, I probably wouldn’t have gotten accepted for carrying the ads, and I’m sure that if I started showing porn and smut, they would quickly remove the ads… I would hope so, anyway, since I have no interest in those kinds of things.
A quick story about content, since we know that “sex sells” more than any other thing on earth… Years ago, I put a video up on YouTube called “Searching For A Nude Beach” or something like that, and it got so many views so quickly that it actually spooked me, so I deleted it. Hey, I was a newbie… LOL. The video was just a funny flic showing me “looking” for a nude beach, and it obviously didn’t show any naked people. BTW, I just located all those old videos of mine, and will re-post them as I get time. I found a hard drive that contains just about everything I have done online since the early 2000′s.
So, just be careful out there. On the ‘net, you basically get exactly what you ask for, if you catch my drift.
